THE ROLE:
We are hiring and building the foundation for our next growth stage. As the RF Technician for Curvalux, you will play a pivotal role in driving our new fixed wireless access products to connect people around the globe.
Curvalux is poised to play a significant role globally in providing much needed extremely high-speed broadband connectivity to the unconnected world. The RF Technician will join an A-team developing the next generation Curvalux Products in sub 7 and MM wave frequency bands.
The RF Technician will engage with an experienced cross-disciplinary team to work at our R&D Headquarters in Sheffield, UK. You will be responsible for fault finding, soldering intricate components on RF/digital PCBA, assembly and testing of RF/MM wave systems.
HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE TABLE:
- Proven experience with Micro soldering components on RF and digital PCBAs.
- Hands-on experience with RF equipment assembly, installation, testing, storage and maintenance.
- Familiarity with signal generators, spectrum analyzers, and vector network analyzers (VNA).
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with RF circuits and equipment.
- Ability to work in both lab and outdoor environments, including the setup and maintenance of field equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Positive attitude, good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
- Relevant technical certification or diploma in electronics, RF engineering, or a related field
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Work experience at MW radio or/and RF/MW/MM wave sub system manufacturer
- Good knowledge of H&S requirements
